The expedition ship is thoroughly outfitted for your adventure enjoyment! With it's aft adventure launch deck, the science center complete with interactive area map and the knowledgeable guest lecturers you will be ready to "get out there".
Several wilderness locations on both the north and south bound itinerary where they have off ship exploring with their team of Expedition Leaders. On these adventures via the RIB's (smaller inflatable boats) you'll have a chance to see eagles, bears, sea otters and whales in the wild.
Experience the Inside Passage's many fjords and glaciers and the rich history that formed around these coastal areas, from traditional indigenous cultures to Russian ownership through Gold Rush-Era, Alaska IS history.
